  13.         These merges are intended for RBBS-PC version 17.3C only and
  14. may not work properly with other versions of RBBS-PC. The R-PCCITY
  15. merges allow Users and SysOps to change the CITY/STATE field in the USERS
  16. file. This option is presented from the utilities menu, option [P]. Since the
  17. default menu item for this option reads "[P]assword Change" it would be
  18. advisable to edit your utilities menu to read something like "[P]ersonal Info."
  19. or the like. The ability for the SysOp to change this field is included in
  20. the SysOps menu. The letter to invoke the option will vary depending on what
  21. you have defined as the CITY/STATE field.
  22.         If you are using Tom Collins' ANSIED merges then merge R-PCCITY
  23. after you have modified RBBS-PC with the ANSIED merges. If you wish ONLY the
  24. SysOp to have the ability to change this field then you will have to edit the
  25. merges to delete those sections which allow users to do so. Use the
  26. R-PCCITY.DOC file as guide in doing this.
  27.         It is my understanding that these merges will be included in RBBS-PC
  28. Version 17.4 in some form or another. In the event that they are overlooked
  29. upon release of 17.4, I will attempt to update them to work with that version.
  30. The latest merges for CITY and STATE can be found on The SUNY RBBS.
  31.         If you find any problems or incompatabilities with these merges please
  32. report them at once and efforts will be made to correct the incompatabilities.
  33. Do not bother to report bugs to the development team! All bugs should be
  34. reported by leaving a comment to the SysOp of The SUNY RBBS 516-420-0818.
